Strut Your Soul
For many women, the demands of daily life leave little room for the things that make them feel alive. At Bloom House, we believe you deserve more than a life spent putting yourself last, criticizing your body or making yourself smaller. You are meant to move, laugh, create and belong. Whether you’re here to explore something new or devote yourself to a deeper practice, there is room to bloom!
“The whole core of my being
began demanding a new way
of relating to myself.”

"Burlesque has become my self care routine”
Bloom House offers transformational dance and burlesque education for all levels. We strive to create a safe and playful space for all bodies to explore self expression, sensuality and the beauty of embodied dance.
Soul Centered Cabaret
We offer 6-8 sessions a year. Each series is 6 weeks long and multiple classes can be bundled within the session. Performing students may have longer sessions as we get into show season in late spring. While we don’t offer drop-in classes during session, we do offer drop-in friendly workshops in July and December.
“Regardless of how I walk into Burlesque class, I always walk out feeling more fabulous, sensual, playful and powerful.” — Kat, WA
Our Philosophy
Community Over Competition | Play Over Pressure | Authenticity Over Ego
Community Over Competition | Play Over Pressure | Authenticity Over Ego
At Bloom House, burlesque is more than an art form. It’s a practice of self-expression, embodiment and personal growth that extends far beyond the classroom. We work from a mind-body philosophy, cultivating a deeper relationship with your body, your creativity and yourself.
We’re committed to preserving the artistry and legacy of burlesque while providing meaningful opportunities for artistic development, continued education and performance. Our approach blends dance education and technique with sensuality, creative exploration and embodiment practice. We believe in building strong foundations and sustainable practices that support the skill, health and versatility of dancers long term, while still leaving space for the deep individuality that makes burlesque so powerful. This is the heart of Bloom House: Elevating the art form while empowering the individual. Because the magic of embodied burlesque isn’t something you leave at the studio. You carry it with you for a lifetime.
Come as you are — Discover what you’re capable of — Charge fourth in full bloom.
F A Q s
We believe meaningful progress and creative freedom belong together. We teach the foundations that build strong, capable, healthy dancers—but without the pressure, rigidity or expectation of perfection. Our approach blends technical training with play, somatic practice and expressive exploration, creating space to develop real skills while discovering your own movement and artistic voice. Each session we explore rotating cabaret styles inspired by theater jazz, classical and modern burlesque, ballet, bellydance & more. A typical class includes warm ups, drills, improvisational flow practice and short choreography. Striptease is partially included. We serve women aged primarily 20 - 55. Class sizes range from 5 - 20.
What are classes like?
1
We open registration about a month prior to the start of classes. For access, send us a message through our contact form including your full name, phone, email and which classes you want to sign up for. We’ll email you the registration link when doors open!
How do I register for classes?

Our all level cabaret/burlesque classes are beginner friendly. Our Sunday Fundamentals and Conditioning class is best for brand new movers looking to deepen their connection to body and mind, while our bellydance class offers a slower paced, drop-in friendly atmosphere.
I’m a beginner, what classes are best for me?

A happy dance bag always includes warm-up layers, dance shoes such as character heels or ballet slippers, knee pads and a water bottle. Burlesque dancers pack gloves, stockings and maybe a robe!
What should I keep in my dance bag?

Students can make-up missed class within a session by dropping into other classes. Talk to your teacher — they can guide your options and talk to you about roll-over credits.
What if I have to miss class?

Wear whatever makes you feel beautiful and happy! Traditional dance attire to cozy PJs to fishnets and thongs are all welcome! Enclothed cognition is real — Look Good, Feel Good! Bare feet and dance shoes only please! Our floors don’t like pleasers, street shoes or anything with a rubber sole.

Studio Etiquette
The art of working together
Building doors stay locked and will open 15 min prior to class. If you arrive late, text us a heads up or knock loud— Someone will come let you in!
No street shoes or gum in the studio
Please don’t touch or lean on studio mirrors
Please be mindful of strong scents including perfume and body odor
Your spot in the studio is fluid — It can and should move around. Standard formation is staggered so everyone can see themselves in the mirror.
Ask the teacher for clarification, not your fellow students! As tempting as it is.
Keep private conversations to a minimum while class is going. Please be respectful of your teacher and fellow students.
Your attitude matters and affects those around you.
If an issue arrises, ask the teacher privately if they can schedule some time to talk outside of class, or send them an email.
If you do not wish to be on promotional photo or video, simply step out for that moment or inform your teacher.
We are a shared space with other businesses. Please be mindful in the common areas.
Student Performance
At Bloom House, we believe technique is the foundation, but artistry is the slow burn. True performance isn’t just about learning the steps, it’s letting the dance inhabit you. Give yourself the grace to enjoy the practice, the process and the unfolding — because the stage is sacred and fully embodying it is a lifelong art.
Dance is a journey, not a destination. The stage isn't built in a day, and neither is the performer.
Our annual student showcase offers structured guidance and support to new dancers and up-and-coming artists. All students can learn show material though performing is always optional! Prerequisites include at least one year of classes and private coaching for soloists. Exceptions based on prior experience. Our showcases are highly regarded and stay true to the cabaret spirit with unique, intimate venues and luscious libations. Follow us on Instagram @bloomhouseacademy for show dates and tickets!

Intuitive | Dancer | Teacher
Hi and welcome to my world. For as long as I can remember I've been sensitive to energy and deeply connected to my spirit guides. I am a second generation intuitive and practitioner of holistic healing work. I started dancing nearly 25 years ago, awakening my own soul path and activating the somatic-embodiment work I teach today.
As a professional burlesque and cabaret dancer, I have a tremendous passion for bringing women into sacred, sexy space; igniting sensuality, play and dance alchemy as a mega tool for transformation.
Through my women's circles and private coaching sessions, I offer safe space for deep inner work and activations.
I have and always will be in service to women, helping to empower our highest, multidimensional selves through movement medicine and the mystic arts.
Connect with me through dance classes, private or group coaching, readings & psychic consultations, or integrative body/energy work.
